Wow somehow I didn't see the update that you already got it to work. Just thought I'd add that if you ran into that unexpectedly. Since the program isn't code signed by Apple, by default it won't let you run it the first time around, unless you are holding the ⌥ Option key. Once you go to Applications to open "Minecraft Bedrock Launcher", make sure to hold down the ⌥ Option key while clicking on it. Here's a few screenshots I took for it also.Īfter dragging the app package from the DMG image in Finder, you will probably open the app after that. Rosetta 2 is great! Without that, you wouldn't be able to run the x86_64 binary unless you recompiled the source for arm_64, or ran it in a virtual machine maybe. I ran the x86_64 binary directly, and it ran without issue. It was a success! I tried on another Mac, this one with the M1 chip instead of an Intel one.
